Lady Bug Hugs just in time for Mother's Day at 2 CuteInk Digital Designs

It's Thursday and my time to post a creation using a 2 CuteInk digital stamp.  I absolutely had the best time making this cheerful card for Mother's Day!  The image is called Ladybug Hugs and can be found here.  It's done on a 6x6 card blank from The Paper Cut-they are so smooth and a better weight than HL.

I used a textured raspberry polkadot Coordinations design paper and stamped the Love on the front.
On the inside I used a slanted stripe paper and stamped another swirly sentiment from the set-perfect for ladybug feet!  I think anyone's Mother would love to get this!
May 1st is coming:  don't forget to sign up for 2 CuteInk Newsletter and you'll receive a freebie!
And if you want to make a card, enter our 2 CuteInk Challenge -it's Anything Goes so everyone enjoys it!  See you there!

New Designer on the Creative Team for Lacy Sunshine-It's Me!

I have loved Lacy Sunshine images for quite a while and was always thrilled when one of the groups I was a member of received images for us to color!  Imagine my excitement when I was asked to join their Creative Team!  I was over the moon for sure~there's just something about their big eyes and cute expressions.
The image I chose to "launch" my start with the Lacies is Gamer Reggie-this is one of Heather's Copyrighted images and is a great image for all those boy cards!!  I colored him with copics and double matted him to spotlight him on his very graphic card.  I just love using buttons on my cards so I pulled out some metal ones-they bring out the grays in the PlayStation.  The graphics continue on the inside but this time in circles.  It could be a card for almost anything! Be sure and check out the Challenge Blog for Lacy Sunshine and get your entry in for the next challenge.  We can also be found on Pinterest and FB and we'd love to meet you!  Thanks again for following me on my blog and I hope you will come back soon!

Eiiihhh Chihuahua! It's Anything Goes at 2 CuteInk!

What a sassy image I have to work with this week at 2 CuteInk--she's called Chihuahua Doodle.  I knew right away that I wanted to use this great dog print paper from the Paper Studio called Multi Colored Dog Paws.  The brown Bazzil textured paper was perfect for a frame with pop dots .  That way I could have her "popping" out of it for attention.  Being the Diva that she is, I gave her a double row Bling collar and used some natural twill ribbon with paw prints on it as an accent.  The front verse is from my computer and makes this card perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, thinking of you, friendship cards.
I Used the paper again on the inside with a stamped friendship verse. We have challenges 2x a month and are always posting on FB so check us out.  The 2 CuteInk Store at Etsy is packed full of adorable images and would look great on your cards!  See you at the Challenges!

SPRING HAS SPRUNG 2nd Challenge at Sweet Pea's "One Sweet Challenge"

How can you NOT get a smile on your face when you see Raindragon by Lisa Victoria with Sweet Pea Stamps!!!  Even Puddles won't get him down!  This will celebrate the halfway point in the "One Sweet Challenge" for Sweet Pea as we continue with the theme Spring Has Sprung for April.

This was such a FUN card to do-a 6x6 card blank used from The Paper Cut, with this Perfect rain drop 2 sided paper.  The dragon is SO cute and I loved doing her in Copic shades of pinks with a light blue wash over her.  The other side of the paper has several different cloud patterns on it which I used with foam dots.  What I got a kick out of was going back and using Aleene's Clear Gel Tacky Glue on all the raindrops, even across the border at the bottom (which is the tear away section of the paper).  On the inside, I wanted to do a sunshine page with another paper from the set-aren't the rain boots and umbrellas adorable?  With an up-beat sentiment, it's sure to get someone feeling better quickly!
Be sure to check back for the next month's theme at One Sweet Challenge-Sweet Pea Stamps has so many images that will inspire you to enter your creation!  Remember: Our prizes for our challenges are a $10 coupon if the winner uses a Sweet Pea Stamp rubber stamp or digital image and a $5 coupon to the Sweet Pea Stamp store if the winner did not use a Sweet Pea Stamp.  See you there!

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion--This week's Sponsor, Di's Digi Stamps

We know everyone likes those Anything Goes Challenges- ATG -so we aim to please!  EVERY Challenge at Craft Your Passion is ATG and this bi-monthly's challenge is sponsored by Di's Digi Stamps.  Their prize to the winner is a $10 Store Voucher -how neat is that!!
We were allowed to use any image that we wanted this week so expect to see some amazing creations from the DT and join in with us at our Challenge Site.

For this card, I'm combining several digital images from several sources-I love the versatility of layering png's.  AND it's a Bobble Card -LOL No, the image shown is not out of focus, I just wanted you to see the action!  The background digital paper, the "frame" and the the 2 swirl items at the top are all pre-colored from Doodle Pantry , where I was recently a DT member.  Laurie gives you such rich colored images and these are in my favorite colors!  Then from my DT term with Fred, she Said, I used one of the many different colored little girls and sentiment from "I Love you This much!".  These also are pre-colored and well shaded.  I just fancy cut this one and placed a spring on her back.  I just love Tracey's Coloring on her images.
So show us your creation and let us see your talent!  We get such great ideas from our Followers!

Sweet Pea Stamps creation-Lovin' their Springtime Beauties for Mother's Day cards

What a great chance to work on some beautiful artwork from the Sweet Pea Stamps Store.  The image is called Spring Beauty ©Regan Kubecek and it was just done for pure enjoyment!
As usual, these images are very detailed and because of that, I really took my time coloring it with Copics.  There were these little bubbles through the "garden" that I chose to add little pearls to each one of them-gives dimension and some elegance~ Then I accented the corner with rolled cardstock flowers in 2 sizes, centers of white pearls, and yellow Guinea feathers glued in place.  That background paper, while I bought it probably for a Water feature, made me think of the dew on flowers.  I just love it.  Then in the inside I used a Basic Grey soft blue patterned paper with a square die cut and a Sentiment, simple but perfect for Mother's Day.  I lost my Mom many years ago but, I think of her so much and see the values and love of life that she instilled in me every day.  So often I pause to recognize what a true treasure she was to me and how I wish I had her close for one last hug and kiss.  Mother's Day is coming soon-Reach out to yours and let her know how much she means to you.
I'd like to submit this for the following challenges:
Creative Moments- ATG w/ Spring
Penny's Paper Crafty- One for the Girls

At 2 CuteInk it's a "Baby Theme" Challenge! Awwwww

It's an exciting time at 2 CuteInk because it's Challenge Time again!!  We are having a "Baby Theme" Challenge and we expect to see so many creations to ooooh and awwww over!!
 *************************************
This image from the 2 CuteInk Etsy shop is called Baby Eli the Elephant and looks good on either a baby boy or girl creation!  I think of "peek a boo" when I think of little babies and I guess that's when I decided to make a baby shaker card.
The pink "Structure" of the card is made from a pre-scored and cut card blank from The Paper Cut called the Scallop Circle Foldover Card in Basis Pink.  Then I placed a large Shake It Pouch from Impression Obsession through a circle cut from behind (it has a great adhesive edge that bonds really well), shook in some pastel assorted beads, and glued down an acrylic backing for my shaker.  I placed another cut out circle from The Paper cut over the front to finish off the look and added some rolled roses and felt leaves for a "girly" accent on the front.  Of course, because of the girly part, I HAD to spray it lightly with glitter spray.
On the inside, I scalloped some cute pink design paper and added the best feature of all, the digital image Eli from 2 CuteInk that I colored with Copics.
I hope you will join us for the Challenge and come out a Winner!

I'd like to enter this Shaker card in the following Challenge:
 Craftin Desert Divas-Shaker Project-4/26
Whoopsi Daisy- Flowers
Scrapbook Stamp Society - ATG/Mother's Day-4/26

Art by Miran Sponsors Southern Girls Challenge=Shine Like the STAR you are!

I'm SO pleased to finally get to use an image from
Art by Miran-one of my All Time Wishes!!  This one is called Florina and I love images that go off the page like this one. **sigh** Was such fun to color!  It was so cool that they were sponsoring Southern Girls Challenge these 2 weeks with a Theme of STAR(s).  I KNOW you're looking for it!!  Well, just over the round tag, you will see one of my charms in the shape of a STAR-in fact, it says Movie Star on it!  I used a 5.75 x 5.75" square card blank from The Paper Cut.  This is a great site to get pre-scored card blanks in all kinds of assorted cuts -even swing card blanks!  There blanks have a great weight to them and are so smooth to the touch.  Of course, envelopes to match!  Then a purple mat with a striped design paper on top.  The alternate patterned paper is roughed around the edges with a Tim Holtz distress tool and then I penned the stitch lines on it.  The ribbon is threaded through a top slot in the crease and wrapped to the inside.  The sentiment is just one I had from my stash.  I'm so glad you stopped by and took a look!  Come and join us in our challenge!

FREE monthly digi's at 2 CuteInk!

This is a card that I made from a FREE
2 CuteInk digital image called Tulip Owl!  YOU can have this available to you also-it's easy to get
a FREE Digital offer from 2 CuteInk every month--If you join the group and sign up for their newsletter that keeps you up to date for every that's going on!  The image is available from now until the 8th and then you have until the 15th to make a creation for the challenge.  This goes on EVERY MONTH!  And if you win the challenge, you get a free digi!

For this card, I colored the Tulip Owl with Copics, matted the white card blank from The Paper Cut (they are a great weight and very smooth) with some kraft paper and white cardstock.  Then I used some design paper, the pre-colored pink flowered digital tree branch, and the sentiment from Doodle Pantry's "Whatahoot".  I think she looks so cute perched up on her branch!
Hope we see some of your creations in the months to come at 2 CuteInk!

"Spring has Sprung" is the Challenge Theme at Sweet Pea's ONE SWEET CHALLENGE for April!

This Stunner is by a favorite artist of mine that now creates for Sweet Pea Stamps, Lynne Stansbery.  I got to know her through Squigglefly and she has great shading and unique images!  This one is called Tender Loving Care.  I took some liberties with adding a young pink bud to the plant, where the leaves were accented with "dew drops" made from clear acrylic glue. (kind of hard to see from the picture).  I used a "loopy" felt flower and added the button on the corner.  White cardstock flower pods and branches are compliments of friends.  On the inside, I finished the card with a coordinating flower paper and used the double sided paper for the accent strip.  The verse is from my stash-perfect don't you think?

This card is my "premier" card as a New Design Team Member on the Sweet Pea One Sweet Challenge Team and I'm thrilled to death that they asked me to join them.  I'm looking forward to a great relationship-I so admire their images!

Winners are chosen randomly. If the winning card uses a Sweet Pea Stamp image the prize is a $10 gift card to the SPS store. A $5 gift card will be awarded to the winner if the image is from any other company.  So at least twice a month, I hope you will return to my blog to see what the newest offering is from Sweet Pea Stamps & OSC Design Team !

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion-new Design Team for me!

This is a Great Day as it's my DT Launch at Craft Your Passion!  I'm so happy to be a member of this well known Group!  Our Challenges are Always anything Goes~This week, Lacy Sunshine is our Sponsor and the winner's prize is 3 Images of Choice from their store!  Awesome!
For the first week of April, I'm using a great image from Lacy Sunshine called Honeybee Enchantress and I put a little "twist" on the card..can you find it?  Instead of leaving the image with a mat around it, I fancy cut the digital which of course, cut off the "path" of the circling bees.  So I wound fine wire in a spiral, stretched it out and mounted the bees at the end of each spring.  They are definitely raised off of the card-hopefully you will see that in the photo.  The wires were pushed through the foam dots in back of the image for support.  I used some super designer papers from Authentique that either had yellow/white honeycomb, strips of bee accents/sayings (see front), verses (inside)-great variety.

I hope you will enjoy the ideas that I've come up with for my card!  Please mark your calender for April 13th when we will have our next challenge-still with the same theme "Anything Goes".  Can't wait to see you there!

ScrapbookerPhD Challenge #22 FOCUS on a SENTIMENT

As I get started with a new Design Team at ScrapbookerPhD, I'm thrilled that we are being sponsored this month by Craft Classes Online!  BOTH are a great combination for your scrapbooking talents so check them both out AND it's a perfect way to celebrate National Craft Month!  I had met the owner of PhD through another site and was thrilled to be considered for her expanding group.

For this challenge #22, it is all about the sentiment, the verse, the words that convey to your loved one just how much you care about them, how much they are in your thoughts.  VERY versatile card options there.
I'm so tired of winter and am thrilled to make a card with Spring colors and flowers!  For this card, I used a pre-colored digital image from my stash from Fred she Said  and the outside sentiment is from Doodle Pantry.   I put foam dots under the flower frame and the ladybugs. Awww, I think Spring is finally in the air!
Please get an entry together and get to our site to enter!  Any image can be used, no specific layout--just has to have a sentiment!  Easy Peasy!  See you there!  To the winner of this challenge CCO is offering a free seat to any of their online workshops found on the CCO website with a regular price of $25 or less. Winners have until the end of December 2015 to claim their prize. (Isn't this an incredible prize!)
