Time to use Twine, Ribbon, Floss on the Challenge at Squigglefly

This week at Squigglefly they would like us to use the 3 mediums that I listed in the heading--Ribbon, Floss or Twine.  Well, I chose to use a "ribbon" of raffia.  What with fall coming on shortly and kids going back to school, I thought it was a great chance to make an encouraging card for a little girl returning to school!  I love the look of Raffia on a card-makes it so down-homey!  This image is called digi pencil girl without glasses by Cheryl Alger, one of the many talented artists that you will find in the SF Shop.  I colored her with copics, double matted her and then attached the raffia ribbon and raffia bow with button attached.

Well, I had another image by Cheryl Alger called No. 2 pencil with Dream  so I created another card for the occasion.  You'll find SO many images at the Squigglefly Store by this wonderful Artist-can you tell she's one of my favorites?  Do know why the silver pen I used showed up so well on one picture and not on the other!    I wanted to use the yellow glittered circle brad as the Sun on the page and the flower petals are the sun rays.  I picked up some blue and white Baker's Twine as an accent on the end of the card.  Thanks for taking a look at my creations.  Come and play along with our latest challenge and check us out each week for a chance to win some free digital images!
